Sponsor Hope’s Sanctuary Care
Meet Hope. She came from a 116-horse seizure in Arkansas, one of the largest cruelty cases in the region. Our founder, DeeDee, volunteered at the holding facility throughout the year-long court battle. When it ended, she told HSUS and ASPCA, “We’ll take the five most difficult horses.”
Hope was the most dangerous horse DeeDee had ever encountered—traumatized, unpredictable, and terrified. She could flip in a heartbeat. But over time, with patience and love, Hope has grown more confident, more trusting, and even a bit of a character.
Because of her sensitivity and lingering trauma, Hope isn’t a candidate for adoption. She’s found her forever home with us, and we love her deeply.
Hope now lives peacefully in sanctuary with her pasture‑mates, enjoys her daily mash, and has formed an enduring friendship with Winter. She is safe, loved, and living the life she deserved all along.
If you feel moved to help us care for Hope, please consider sponsoring her sanctuary care. Your gift helps provide feed, vet visits, farrier work, and the quiet safety she’s earned.
